Hi all, I was wondering if any of you know anything about Cal from Calvins Canadian Cave of Cool. He is a fellow blogger & friend to the Dork Review. He is a very active poster & hasn't posted anything since March 23rd so we are worried about him. If you have any information please put that in the comments below.

Me too. I only ever browsed his site but I kind of miss his quirky take on life. I wonder how we find out what has happened to him? Fingers crossed that he is ok and just taking a break.

Hi. A piece of news which I believe is genuine: apparently Calvin moved house in March 2025 but for reasons of his own, did not leave a forwarding address and stopped answering his phone even to old friends. Naturally, this led to speculation that he might have passed away shortly after the move. However, local obits contained nothing and a concerned friend eventually contacted RCMP who confirmed that he was seen in his new location as recently as November 2025. No news since then. Wherever he is I hope he is safe and knows how much he was valued by many people who may never have met him but loved his work.
