Masters of the Universe's Create a Character

In 1985, Mattel hosted a "Create a Character" contest for the Masters of the Universe line, receiving over 45,000 entries where children designed heroes or villains for a chance to have their character produced. The winner was 12-year-old Nathan Bitner with his character, "Fearless Photog," a hero with a camera for a head.
