I had the honor of modeling and texturing the Excelsior for a video game a few years ago. I fell in love with the design of the ship. I find it to be my second favorite Starfleet ship, right behind the 1701 refit from TMP. These blueprints would have come in mighty handy as I was working on it. It's such a beautiful design, especially the top of the saucer area.

By the way, the blueprints are incorrect in several areas, specifically the neck. It sweeps slightly forward, not back.

Tonebone - I love that you noticed that blueprint detail (I didn't see it until you pointed it out - but now it's obvious!). Did the video game you worked on get released? Would love to include an image from it if it's available.

The game was Star Trek Bridge Crew VR. If you have access to my email address, email me and I will hook you up with a pic or two.

For the game I did the Enterprise D, Reliant, Excelsior, Saladin (Kelvin timeline version), Romulan Warbird, and others.

It appears the ship in the blueprints is NOT Excelsior, but "space control ship USS Ingram".
Confusingly, the cover pouch refers to "Ingram class" ship "USS Excelsior".
I am assuming this is an error, and that is was intended to say "Excelsior class" ship "USS Ingram, NCC-2001".
This was apparently intended to be a modification of the Excelsior class into a more powerful battleship with increased hangar space and mega-phasers.
