Man, what a beautifully drawn comic. As a young wanna-be comics artist, I used to OBSESS over the scene where Logan waltzes in with the Beastmaster on his shoulders and throws him down on the table. Smith infuses some great acting into the character over the next dozen or so panels. Really a master class of combining fantasy and superheroics and drama.
One of my lottery dreams is to hire Paul Smith to redo the pages from Uncanny X-Men #175 that were done by John Romita Jr. Nothing against JRJ, but I would have liked to have seen what Smith would have done.
