I had the Super Friends & Star Wars one. Its funny the metal lunchbox & thermos had a very distinct smell.
I remember the Marvel heroes lunchbox from back in the day, mainly because it bothered the hell out of me that Spider-Man was swinging from a garden-variety rope instead of a web.
I had that Six Million Dollar Man lunchbox.. when it finally disintegrated, I got a HULK lunch box. Sported it until the 8th grade, when I finally realized that NO ONE else had a "fun" lunchbox, and hadn't for years. How embarrassing.
Tonebone - its funny how that stuff as a kid was embarrassing. I remember drawing in class one day and a new kid asked me in a whisper, "Do you like comics?" No one I knew in 7th grade liked comics so I was hesitant to answer, but I did, "Yep, do you?" At which point he said, "Yeah!" We became best friends and spent many hours drawing, writing, and talking about comics. Wouldn't trade that time for anything!
