Rob's Room: DCeased Horror Movie-Inspired Variant Covers by Yasmine Putri

UPDATED 10/03/19 for Halloween!  ...this post has become a bit outta control...
DCeased Horror Movie-Inspired Variant Covers by Yasmine Putri
Via Bloody Disgusting:
Written by Tom Taylor, the upcoming DC Comics mini-series DCeased will bring ample doses of horror into the world of DC (expect beloved characters to die brutally), with the mini-series kicking off when, thanks to Darkseid, a techno-organic virus infects the world’s networks and spreads to some 600 million people through anything with a screen!  “Those affected try to remove the virus from their minds by scratching and ripping at their own flesh. But once the virus takes hold, they essentially become a rage zombie. Of course we know that Batman has a plan in place for virtually every disaster you could imagine, but this pandemic might be more than even the Dark Knight could have ever prepared for.”
Shared by Taylor through social media today, DC is doing horror movie-inspired variant covers for the issues of DCeased, and you can check out three from Yasmine Putri below!
The first issue of DCeased hits comic book shelves on May 1!

That Killing Joke cover with Joker with the camera.... Arthur Sudyam did that one, and it is actually a straight up photoshop paint over of a photo of a guy who is dressed as the joker... the original cosplayer/photographer is not very happy about it... it was without his permission.

I know there was some public discussion between Sudyam and Anthony Misiano (aka "Harley's Joker" cosplay) to compensate for the... ahem... "reference." Haha! It's seems to have been quiet since early July. Will be curious to know if they settled things amicably. If so, we likely won't hear anything else on the topic. Still... an a-hole move by Sudyam. source: https://www.bleedingcool.com/2019/07/09/arthur-suydam-pay-harleys-joker-cover-homage/
