I wasn't planning on posting this as I try to keep politics out of this blog... but three mass shootings in a week (two in the last day) changed my mind. The time for action is now. Start with common sense gun legislation that the public majority agrees upon (background checks, mandatory gun safety courses, limit size of magazines) and mental health assistance (which has been neglected far too long). Continuing to do nothing is tacitly accepting the next mass shooting that will happen.
