Michael Keaton's 1989's Batman Suit Auction

One of Michael Keaton's iconic Batman suit from 1989's Batman is scheduled to be auctioned off. The suit is one of 900 pieces of movie/tv memorabilia being offered by the Prop Store in a two-day event at London's BFI IMAX on September 30 and October 1. According to the auctioneer, this screen-worn Batman suit is estimated to sell between £80,000 to £120,000 (that's roughly $96,000 to $145,000 in U.S. dollars). The 1989 suit was designed by Bob Ringwood, and then sculpted by Vin Burnham and Alli Eynon for an estimated cost of $250,000 - which, adjusted for inflation would be approximately $542,500 today.
