Philip Portelli wrote, "In the late 70s, MEGO put out the "Superman's Fortress of Solitude" playset for their COMIC ACTION HEROES line. One of the monitor screens lift the character detail from AVENGERS #24! With Superman replacing Captain America, awkwardly holding his cape like a shield! And after already altering the artwork, they couldn't be bothered to recolor Hawkeye green to look like Green Arrow or Quicksilver red for the Flash or try to change Scarlet Witch into Wonder Woman! Or use another panel! They just had Superman team up with the Avengers! And worse, Mego re-released a redesigned Fortress set a year or so later and STILL didn't change that picture!"
