via Tales from the Weirdland: Prototype Star Wars figures by Kenner, based on figures from a Fisher-Price toyline. 1976. These were created for a presentation at 20th Century Fox
I turned my nose at these big time back in the day. Raised on cloth costumes and realistic hair, the size of these didn't cut it for me and I was the biggest Star Wars guy around. I even destroyed a Darth Vader and a Land Speeder with model rocket engines.
Complete opposite for me. Missed the whole Mego scene and was raised on the 3.75” scale. You could hide so many in your pockets and play with them at school on the sly.
