I hate how his design ideas get thrown to the side and only his cover work gets attention. He’s got some really great, interesting concepts like his early 2000’s X-Men costumes and these, that would look amazing in comics.
But no, they just want him to make flashy covers, such an untapped well.
That "4" design is awesome. So simple... Actually the entire suit is really cool. It's like he put the Kirby suit in a blender, and it came out redesigned. I agree with j-swin... Ross's ability to think outside the box, while still adhering to the core of the concept is a rare talent. But, no, let's just have him paint pretty covers.
