In1980's in the back (and one whole issue #36) of DC Comic Presents, DC ran extra little stories that told the tales of forgotten heroes in Whatever Happened To...
...Hourman, Sargon the Sorcerer, Congorilla, Johnny Thunder and Madame .44, Dr. Mid-Nite, the Golden Age Atom, Robotman, Mark Merlin and Prince Ra-Man, Star Hawkins, Rex the Wonder Dog, Starman, Rip Hunter-Time Master, Crimson Avengers, Richard Dragon Kung-Fu Fighter, the Original Air Wave, Sandman, Sandy, the Golden Boy, and the Black Pirate and Son.
Writer Mike Tiefenbacher had several proposals for other "Whatever Happened To...?" stories. These included Captain Action, Blackhawk, Genius Jones, Nighthawk, Ragman, the Sea Devils, the Silent Knight, and Wildcat, but they never got made. It would be awesome if DC not only release these old stories in a TPB but included new ones based on the ones unproduced.
