Official Wolverine & Colossus Fastball Special Appearances!

Updated: 08/18/15

Fun Facts: The fastball special is probably the most famous tag-team move in superhero fiction where a super-strong hero literally throws a willing partner toward a target. The maneuver first appeared in the Marvel Comics series Uncanny X-Men #100, when Wolverine had Colossus hurl him in a battle. It quickly became a favorite tactic of the two heroes

Dork Note: The Fastball Special by Wolverine and Colossus even warranted them getting an action figure two pack, an action card, and a statue!

I don't know if I'm sad that we haven't seen this move in any of the X-Men movies.

On the one hand, watching whoever is playing Colossus fling Hugh Jackman across the screen would look silly as hell... but I'll be damned if I wouldn't watch it with a huge fanboy grin.

It's such a neat relationship and use of their combined powers. It was always the Hail Mary Pass to save the day..
