Rob's Room: Spider-Man Tribute by Zegas

(via Zegas tumblr)
I started posting these last week on Spider-Man co-creator Steve Ditko’s birthday, one panel/decade per day. Today I posted the final panel, coinciding with Miles Morales’ co-creator Brian Michael Bendis announcing his departure from Marvel. Definitely an end of an era.
Tribute to Steve Ditko and Stan Lee, John Romita, Gerry Conway, Ross Andru, Roy Thomas, Gil Kane, David Michelinie, Todd McFarlane, Bill Mantlo, Ed Hannigan, Tom DeFalco, Ron Frenz, Rick Leonardi, Alex Saviuk, Marv Wolfman, Dave Cockrum, Roger Stern, John Romita JR, Terry Kavanagh, Steven Butler, Mark Bagley, J.M. Straczynski, Brian Michael Bendis, Sara Pichelli, Mark Millar, Jack Kirby, the dozen Sinister Syndicate creators, and the hundreds who had a hand in shaping the Spider-mythos.

That's really cool... However...

The artist draws Spidey's mask not-quite-correctly for the Romita/Kane/Andru era (1973. His webbing on his face should be precisely three radial lines (like pizza slices) going from the center of his face to the top of his head, and two downward, delineating a "mouth" on the mask. Check any image of Spidey, pretty much, until McFarlane got web-happy and just put radial lines willy-nilly all over his face.
