Happy 4th of July - 1976 Marvel Style

Dork Note: This is a near perfect image to reflect the 4th and Marvel.

Dork Note: OK, Spidey, Cap, Bucky and the Invaders fighting the Royal Navy...not great but not bad either...a whatever.

Dork Note: The Avengers crossing with George. At least the artist gave tribute to Emanuel Leutze's Washington Crossing the Delaware (1851).

Dork Note: Ummm, this is a bit strange and not (Doctor) Strange. Guess Franklin needed a bit of help from old Goldilocks.

Dork Note: This one is just lazy. Come on guys you could have at least done a whole FF (Fantastic Four) standing with the other FF (Founding Fathers) as they signed the Declaration of Independence.

Dork Note: Hulk Washington and Conan the British Barbarian would have made two awesome What If stories...missed opportunity in the old Marvel Bullpen.

Dork Note: This just sullies Paul's little ride by implying his motivation was not completely patriotic.

Dork Note: Just slap some characters on a flag and go on home boys. What's funny is that half those characters aren't even American. But at least it's not a badly composed (sort of) image and makes some kind of sense. Unlike the image below.

Dork Note: This one made me laugh! What the hell does Adam, Surfer, and the Captain have to do with this lonely ship? A complete failure of the highest level.

Dork Note: Saved the worst for last. Not to be all racially sensitive, but this one takes the cake.

Hope you all are having a good Fourth,
The Dork
