The Gray Ghost: The hunt begins for my collection!

Clipped from www.thefwoosh.com:

2010 is a little over a week away from extinction, but just in time for the holidays, Mattel has sent out a special holiday card, and we wanted to share it with you.

Much the 2005 card, this year features a JLU figure and this time it is the Gray Ghost. Now, if you are a fan of Batman the Animated series, you will know that the Gray Ghost was the pulp hero with his own serial that a young Bruce Wayne loved as a child. So, the values and sense of justice that the Ghost held carried over into Bruce’s Batman and remained his hero into adulthood. Plus, in a clever wink to any Bat-Fan, the great Adam West provided the voice of the Ghost opposite Kevin Conroy’s Batman.

The neat part about this is that the figure does not come in the standard JLU packaging; rather, he is on a card made up to look like it is from a Gray Ghost action figure line. Kind of makes you feel like a little Batman yourself. To top is all off, each card is signed by the producer of BTAS, the hero of DC animation himself, Bruce Timm.

While the packaging is exclusive to the holiday card, you will be able to pick up your own JLU Gray Ghost very soon – he is already starting to surface at some of the online dealers now.

*Thanks to everyone on the DC Team at Mattel. We have had a great year and we look forward to 2011 and all of the DC toy years to come. Happy Holidays!
