Written by Sam Roads with Art by Ben Matsuya
Cryowulf is Beowulf in space. More specifically, it's a gender-flipped retelling, set on a long abandoned space station.

Our main hero is a coming-of-age girl called Crow, who rails against the ritual strictures of her tribe. Rituals which are necessary for them to maintain the clockwork singularity reactor that gives the fading station light and warmth. And when the monster Grendel returns, she is the only one brave enough to look for the folk hero Eortha, who is fabled to be asleep beneath the station, only to awaken in its hour of need.

She's confounded by villains within her tribe and without, but supported by her pessimistic sister Raven, pugnacious friend Puffin, and, in issues to come, whoever or whatever is going to take the role of Beowulf in this world
