Oh that hits my sweet spot. I have a special connection to ROM and even have a letter printed in one of the issues. From there I started a pre-internet pen pal relationship with a vet who was dying in a V.A. hospital. When he died I got a package with the first 50 issues of ROM which was a comic we talked about a lot. The toy of course is one of my holy grails. The comic was so great because ROM interacted with every character Marvel had going at the time. Plus the stories were great. Even Ditko did a few issues.
Long live ROM! Here's to hoping IDW can coax Marvel into letting them reprint the old series!
