Dork Note: I remember reading these origins in the DC Special Series (1977) - #19. I loved "discovering" the origin of a hero. It made them more real.

    Worst. Parents. EVER.

    They accidentally dropped their kid in the surf? Cracked his skull and let him sink to the bottom for an HOUR?! But, hey, at least his father had a Plan B when he dropped him into the tank with three swordfish. Oh, wait...
