Marvel announced that writer/artist Ed Piskor has been writing X-Men Grand Design for the past year and a half. It's a 240-page book that covers over THIRTY years of Uncany X-Men. Issues 1 to 280 specifically. X-Men Grand Design will take 8000+ pages of Uncanny X-Men and distill them to a lean 240 pages book that will sum up all the stories and help get fans of X-Men caught up with their history! The idea with the logo design was to merge the original and the iconic title lettering into one. The solution: keep the jagged “X” and the small “Men” from the Kirby X-Men but incorporate the memorable 3D from the Steranko lettering. “Grand Design” has many meanings.
