Oh, Amethyst... This was one of my favorites. Y'know, back in the 80's, DC was really untouchable in the innovation department. Blue Devil, Amethyst, Blue Beetle, Arion, Teen Titans, Blackhawk, Camelot 3000, Infinity Inc., Omega Men, Vigilante, Captain Carrot and his Amazing Zoo Crew, Crisis... not to mention the ones everyone mentions, Watchmen and Dark Knight Returns.
It's nice to see some of this stuff collected in Showcase volumes, but Amethyst is crying out for a deluxe color collection, with great printing. Maybe someday...
