Nope, Tony...we try very hard not to be "too" political. But if something makes us laugh (which that did) or seems relative to a post then we'll go for it.

@Tony - I, respectfully, disagree. I've always believed some the best of comics, books, and films in our "Dork" genre have addressed political issues (or at the very least, used them as a starting point): Star Trek, Star Wars, Dune, The Dark Knight, X-Men, RoboCop, Starship Troopers, Firefly, Night of the Living Dead, Aliens, Raiders of the Lost Ark, etc. When the world is talking about "alternative facts," we owe it to ourselves & each others to have an honest discussion... even if it pushes us towards politics. Yet, we also have an obligation to be respectful (except for towards Nazis). That said, my contributions toward this blog will never primarily be about politics (and if I veer too far, I hope readers and The Dork, himself, will correct my course). However, I hear & appreciate your comment. Would love to know more about your favorites and if there are any with political meaning in them. [No sarcasm intended]
